First Brunei Outing
Last night, I went for a night shooting of the infamous majestic mosque amongst photographer locally and internationally. The Sultan Omar Ali Saifuddien Mosque. (Nya org.. klu nda menggambar masjid ani nda sah jadi photographer d Brunei lolx.) This is my first outing in Brunei and my first capture of the magnificant mosque. Thanks to my good buddy, HBK for spending some his time to shoot with me. Well here it goes..

Admirality Park Revisited
Yesterday, I went for another macro outing, this time with a friend I met during the previous outing by the name Abdul Shukor aka airforce1. Actual plan is only the two of us are going.. but when we were there.. 3 more Abdul’s friends joining us. We start around 10 am and due to the rain.. we stop at about 12pm and have our lunch at Sakura. After about 2hrs lunching.. and the rain starting to stop… we decided to go out and do more shooting.. but not long after.. the rain start to fall again and we are force to call it a day… it was very tiring but a fun outing, I reach home at about 5pm, anyhow.. thanks to Abdul for his advice and tips on how to shoot macro..

Street Night Shooting at Chinatown
Last night I went outing with fellow CSer at Chinatown. Actually this outing was organized by ZerocoolAstra and intended for newbies. As I am a newbies.. I automatically qualify for this outing hehe.. There are only 6 of us in this outing, we start fromClarke Quay then walks towards Chinatown looking for something to shoot. It was a fun outing as the groups are quite friendly and all eager to learn. But personally I didn’t take many pics, because I use my ultra wide angle lens and maybe becoz lack of experience and skills, it’s hard for me to find subject to shoots lolx.
Anyway, here it goes..

Drop of life
Last night I had nothing to do, so I grab one of my photography for newbies book lolx.. and I saw a section where the author demonstrate how to use shutter speeds to freeze a water droplet as it bounces off the water. Since I haven’t try this before.. and I got the macro lens.. why not try.. lolx.. so I grab my camera and set up all the equipment in the toilets.. well what do you know.. I ain’t easy as instructed haha.. especially trying to focus the water droplets and the timing. Anyway.. after about one and a half hour.. I finally give up and i think I got some decent shot.. maybe I’ll probably do it better the 2nd round and during day time… as I had to increase the ISO to get a fast shutter speed therefore expect some noise in all the pics.
