A garden in the busy city… well.. once you are inside the garden, you’ll forget that you are actually in the centre of a very busy city… I didn’t shoot much there because I am too tired from walking from Scotts Road to there… (should have taken the bus hehe). Anyhow.. you can find many subject to shoots.. squirrels, birds, swans, peoples (hehe), insects (especially dragonfly & damselfly) and ofcourse many variety of flowers especially orchids (in the orchid garden).
Here are my catch.
Yesterday I decided to join another outing and this time with a group called Tangshooters to Hort Park for a flower macro. Hort Park is a one-stop gardening hub that brings together gardening-related, recreational, educational, research and retail activities under one big canopy in a park setting. This 23-hectare regional park in South-Western Singapore is also a park connector, connecting Telok Blangah Hill Park to Kent Ridge Park. Well you can read more about it here.
Anyway I think the outing is very successful and a fun one too. I did learn something that day.. for example do not bring your tripod into a small butterfly enclosure.. lolx (you’ll block other ppl movement). And always.. I mean always prepare your rain gear during outing… oh yea.. I found out shooting flowers are hard… well enough talk.. here are my catch…
